Personification of Evil: The twisted similarities between Brett Favre and Michael Myers

Alright quick turn around this weekend at the Edge. This will be a rather quick posting because I am still mentally winded from my EPL Preview. Could be a neat feature to do a mini post in the intermissions between major pieces.

I have seen many an ad over the past few days for the new movie “Halloween 2″. Yes Halloween 2. This will be the 10th movie in the Halloween franchise. Yet, they are still choosing to call it Halloween 2, which just happens to be the same title as the first Halloween movie sequel- the Original Halloween 2. Confused yet? I don’t care that it is a remake, you can’t just arbitrarily decide to start releasing new movies with old titles. The Halloween sequels have been the most disappointing seed to come from an originally great thing since the 4 Horsemen came back with Chris Benoit.

At least its the Halloween franchise, and nobody has given a shit about that since about 1981.

Speaking of things that have been annoying people since the 1980s (segway) 40 year old man Brett Favre signed a two year contract to return to the NFL and link up with Green Bay Packers’ rival Minnesota Vikings. Brett Favre reminds me of Michael Myers in many ways. they both keep coming back for one year or one sequel too many. They are both seemingly immune to age and injury. Neither of them speak English particularly well. They are both the personification of pure evil. They were both shot 6 times by Donald Pleasence, and still survived.  They both enjoy terrorizing small communities in the American Midwest whether its Green Bay Wisconsin or Haddonfield Illinois. Eerie coincidence? You tell me.
